We are proud to be on the forefront of providing IPv6 to our customer's, as "it is" the future of Internet access and allows improved data transport, especially when streaming, gaming or staying current on social media.
A little information on the old (IPv4) vs. the new (IPv6). IP stands for Internet Protocol and it is a necessity to transmit data between devices on the Internet. IPv4 only has about 4.3 billion IP Addresses available to be assigned to devices throughout the whole world and was depleted in 2015, whereas IPv6 has 340 trillion trillion trillion IP Addresses and should be sufficient to service the whole world for many generations to come.
